Time for an Update

Once again, it has been a long time since I last updated.  No excuses, just haven't been good about it.  Today I have been thinking about Noah and Chloe's foster families.  I want to be better about updating this blog in the hopes that they will check in once in awhile and see new pictures of our family.  The kids are happy, healthy and doing well.  They are both developing quite the sense of humor and are keeping mommy and daddy on our toes!  :)  We have a lot of fun together.

We moved in September and have been enjoying having more room to spread out.  Noah is in first grade and doing well.  He is a great reader and he enjoys school.  His favorite time is recess and he is happy to finally be back outside after so many days of cold weather!  He is participating in a chess group at school.  He is really good and he tries to teach me, but I am not a quick study and he would rather play with dad.

Chloe is doing well, too.  She has one more year before kindergarten.  Next year she will be go to preschool a few afternoons a week next year at the school where I work.  It will be fun to have her around and the larger group, in addition to being with her friends at daycare, will be good exposure for her.  She is participating in a dance line group for a few weeks.  Some days she is excited, other days, not so much.  She was turning somersaults after dinner today...maybe we need to look into gymnastics next time!

Here are some pictures of the kids....enjoy!

Until next time,
Stacy

Noah won first place for speed at the Pinewood Derby again this year!

Christmas 2013...look who got glasses!

Here are the kids in front of our new home...back when it was warm and sunny!

All dressed up for a Daddy-Daughter dance.
Chloe couldn't have been more excited for an afternoon of dancing
with her favorite person in the whole wide world!
